Compliance at Swing
At Swing, compliance isn’t just a term we casually use – it forms the backbone of our unwavering commitment to our users and the broader web3 community. By diligently upholding robust compliance standards, we not only meet legal benchmarks but also guarantee a safe environment for our users.
To stay aligned with international regulations and ensure a compliant environment, Swing has put into action the following measures:
Users connecting from the United States, Canada, or any OFAC-listed countries will face IP blocks in line with regional compliance requirements.
Mainnet Transactions: Users hailing from the aforementioned regions are barred from executing mainnet transactions involving real funds via Swing.
Testnet Transactions: For developers eager to hone their integrations, testnet transactions remain accessible. These transactions, devoid of real funds, are permitted even for users from the delineated regions, offering an uninterrupted development journey. Learn more about testnet support
Real-time Wallet and Transaction Screening: We're in the advanced stages of implementing a system for real-time wallet and transaction screening. This will further bolster our compliance framework and ensure transactions remain within regulatory parameters.
OFAC-listed countries and regions We restrict users from the following countries or regions, as pinpointed by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC):
- Nations of the Balkans
- Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
- Democratic Republic of Congo
- North Korea
Additionally, users singled out as a Specially Designated National by OFAC (referred to as a “Prohibited Person”) are also restricted.
As the regulatory sphere transforms, so will our compliance measures. We remain thankful for your understanding and unwavering support in making the web3 space secure and inclusive.
